Maeda Sensei has confirmed he will be making the trip to Ireland next summer! Tony Partlow Sensei, the Shibucho of the United States, went to Ireland last September to teach the first seminar on Okinawa Shogen-Ryu Karate-Do at the dojo of Michael Quinn Sensei.
During Quinn Sensei's recent trip to Okinawa, to train with Maeda Sensei and other senior students of the Honbu Dojo, Maeda Sensei confirmed that he would make the trip next summer. The seminar will be sometime in June or July and the final dates will be set soon.
Maeda Sensei also surprised Michael by having him test at the end of his visit. Michael passed and was awarded the rank of Godan and had his dojo elevated from a Fukushibu Dojo to a full Shibu Dojo!
